Al Ishaq Captures Bronze in Arab Swimming

AMMAN, Jordan, August 19, 2009 – Abdulrahman Essa Al Ishaq of Qatar claimed 200 m backstroke bronze Tuesday at the ongoing Arab Swimming Championship taking place in Amman, Jordan.

Al Ishaq’s bronze raised Qatar’s medals tally to two bronze, earlier on Monday, Qatar swimming team seized their first bronze in 4×100m freestyle.

A total of 14 Arab countries including Qatar, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Algeria, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and hosts Jordan are competing in the championship.
