The LIVE-Exhibition at the IAAF World Indoor Championships Doha 2010

The exhibition project:
Witness how athletes become legends - on the spot! At the IAAF World Indoor Championships the staff of Qatar Olympic & Sports Museum will collect interviews and objects from athletes. Quotes from the interviews and the objects will be immediately put on display in showcases in the spectator's area as well as online on the website www.doha2010wic.com. LIVE is the abbreviation for the exhibition's slogan Leave Impressions & Vibrant Emotions and stands for a spontaneous ad hoc performance reflecting the development of the event. Look out for the LIVE-Exhibition-signs and visit us at the event or online.

Become a legend - become part of history:
Through the LIVE exhibition athletes are becoming legends and part of history. Not only the winners, but all participants leave their traces which will still be traceable in many years to come. Their objects, stories and interviews will be part of the collection, the exhibition and sports knowledge center for future visitors and researchers at the Qatar Olympic & Sports Museum - a joint project of the Qatar Olympic Committee and Qatar Museums Authority. This museum will be a national and international institution for sport, its history and heritage. It preserves the local, regional and international sports heritage and documents Qatar's integration in the international sports community.

Spare a few minutes to visit the LIVE-Exhibition at the event and make sure to come back every once in a while to check on the progress. New objects and interviews will constantly trickle in and give you a glimpse of the athletes' impressions and emotions at the IAAF World Indoor Championships.
