It includes manuscripts, ceramics, metal, glass, ivory, textiles, wood and precious stones from three continents. The building, and architectural masterpiece, was designed by Pritzker Prize Laureate, I.M.Pei.
The Museum of Islamic Art is dedicated to be the foremost museum of Islamic art in the world, and as will as a centre of education and information in the field of the arts of the Islamic world.
